Solar Installer Norwest: CEC Accredited Commercial, Strata & Home Solar

Norwest is a business district first, with offices, apartments and homes gathered around Norwest Lake and the metro. Charlie Sparks designs and installs commercial, strata and residential solar here with CEC accredited installers.

Commercial and Residential Solar in Norwest NSW 2153

Charlie Sparks installs solar across Norwest NSW 2153, from the offices and commercial buildings of Norwest Business Park to the apartments near Norwest Marketown and the residential streets on the edges of the suburb. Norwest has been its own suburb of The Hills Shire since 2018.

Most roofs here belong to a company, a landlord or an owners corporation, not a single household. That changes the job. Someone has to assess the roof, model the savings and steer the proposal through the people who need to approve it. We do all three.

From feasibility to commissioning, our licensed team handles the technical work and the approvals for you.

The Business Case for Solar in Norwest

For a building that is busy from nine to five, solar is one of the most reliable ways to lower operating costs.

Lower Operating Costs

Air conditioning, lighting, lifts and IT run through the day, in step with solar generation. Supplying part of that load from the roof reduces energy bills for owners, tenants or the owners corporation.

Incentives Claimed

Eligible systems attract STC incentives that reduce the capital cost, and we factor them into the proposal and lodge the claim. For larger systems we explain how the applicable certificate scheme works.

Lower Strata Levies

Solar on a strata building can power common areas such as car park lighting, lifts and pool pumps. Cutting those costs helps keep levies down, which benefits every owner in the scheme.

Sustainability Targets

Solar gives a business or building a measurable reduction in emissions. The monitoring data can be used in sustainability reporting and helps demonstrate environmental commitments to staff and clients.

How We Deliver Solar Projects in Norwest

Commercial and strata projects involve more people and more paperwork. Our process is built to keep them moving.

Feasibility Review

We inspect the roof, switchboards and metering, and analyse your interval data or bills. For strata and leased buildings, we also clarify who owns the roof and who needs to approve the project.

01

Proposal & Business Case

You receive a proposal with the system design, projected generation, savings and payback, and a fixed price after incentives. It is written so it can be presented to a board or strata committee.

02

Scheduled Installation

We plan the work with building management, including roof access, safety requirements and any shutdowns. Installation is staged to minimise disruption, and each stage is tested before the next begins.

03

Commissioning & Reporting

The system is commissioned and monitoring is set up for the people who need it. We provide compliance certificates, warranties and incentive paperwork, and can offer scheduled maintenance afterwards.

04

Choosing a Solar Installer in Norwest

Commercial and strata solar needs more than a good price per panel. Look for these capabilities.

Stakeholder Experience

Landlords, tenants, strata committees and building managers all have a say. We provide the drawings, insurance details and financial figures each party needs, and attend meetings to answer questions if asked.

Accredited & Compliant

All installers are Clean Energy Council accredited, and our commercial work follows AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 4777. You receive full compliance documentation for your building and insurance records.

Safe Work on Site

Working on commercial roofs requires proper planning. We prepare safe work method statements, coordinate inductions and access with building management, and arrange Endeavour Energy approval before work starts.

Norwest Solar FAQs

How long does a commercial solar installation take?

It depends on the size. A small office system can be installed in a day or two, while larger rooftops are completed in stages over a week or more. Residential installs usually take a day. The proposal includes a schedule agreed with you.

Yes. The owners corporation needs to approve it, usually by resolution at a general meeting. Solar is most often connected to the common area supply. We prepare the proposal, the figures and the technical details the committee and owners need to make a decision.

Possibly. It requires the consent of the landlord, and the benefit depends on how long is left on your lease and who pays the power bill. We can prepare a proposal that shows the value to both tenant and landlord to support that conversation.

It varies with your tariff, your daytime usage and the size of the system. Businesses that use most of their solar on site generally see the best return. We calculate projected savings and payback from your interval data and include them in the proposal.

Yes. Our installers hold Clean Energy Council accreditation. Panels come with a 25-year performance warranty and ten to fifteen years on the product, and inverters with five to ten years, extendable on some models. Our workmanship warranty covers the installation.
