Charlie Sparks installs solar right across The Hills Shire, from established streets in Baulkham Hills and Castle Hill to the new estates of Box Hill, Gables, and North Kellyville, and out to acreage in Dural and Kenthurst.
Hills properties tend to have generous roofs and heavy household loads, which changes the design conversation: three-phase supply is common, 10kW+ systems are the norm rather than the exception, and battery storage often stacks up faster here than anywhere else in Sydney. We design for that reality rather than quoting the same 6.6kW kit everyone else does.
As locals to the job, we are also around afterwards, for servicing, warranty support, and the battery or EV charger you add later.

Running ducted air through a Hills summer pushes power bills into painful territory. A well-sized system covers that daytime load directly from your roof, and a battery carries the savings through the evening peak when the family is home.
Larger systems mean larger STC rebates, on a 13kW install the federal incentive is substantial, and it comes straight off your quote. NSW battery incentives can stack further, and we handle every eligibility check and form.
Generating most of your own power makes retailer price rises largely someone else's problem. With storage, summer storm outages across the Hills become a non-event, your essentials keep running while the grid sorts itself out.
A large Hills roof can generate more clean energy than the household uses, effectively making your home a net contributor to the grid. It is one of the few home upgrades that pays you while cutting emissions.
We’ve kept the process straightforward, with no high-pressure sales calls or surprise charges along the way.
Our crews are through the Hills constantly, so service calls happen within days. When an inverter faults in January with the aircon running, you want someone local on the roof, not a booking three weeks out.
Current Clean Energy Council accreditation is held by every installer we send out, the prerequisite for your STC rebate, and every system is built to AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 4777 with full documentation at handover.
New-estate Colorbond in Box Hill, concrete tiles in Baulkham Hills, terracotta in West Pennant Hills, and long cable runs on Dural acreage, we work with all of it, and we know what The Hills Shire Council and Endeavour Energy each require before a system goes live.

I highly recommend Charlie.Posted on Google Farzan MaghamiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had Charlie from Charlie Sparks install a Tesla Powerwall 3, a new 17kW solar array, and a backup gateway at my home, replacing my old solar system, and the experience was outstanding. Charlie provided a rough quote over the phone, which was reasonable, so we arranged for him to inspect my property. During the inspection, he was thorough, climbing onto the roof to assess the setup. We discussed optimal placement for the Powerwall 3, and he suggested upgrading to a 17kW solar array if budget allowed, without being pushy. His initial quote was competitive, and after I opted for the new array, he provided a revised quote that was very well-priced compared to multiple other quotes I obtained. Charlie and his team were punctual for both the inspection and installation, which impressively happened less than a week later. They efficiently removed the old system and installed the Powerwall 3, 17kW solar array, and backup gateway with professionalism and clean work. Commissioning was seamless, and the system was fully operational the same day. During the quoting process I realised that using a Tesla-certified installer is critical for the Powerwall warranty - Charlie confirmed his certification, which I verified with Tesla, so everything checked out. (Tip: always ensure your installer is Tesla-certified for a TPW3!) The day after installation, Charlie followed up with suggestions for optimising the Powerwall 3 configuration. Since those tweaks, the system has been running perfectly. I've already referred Charlie to a friend and will continue to do so moving forward. I highly recommend Charlie and his team for their competitive pricing, timeliness, and exceptional, clean work. Fantastic job!Posted on Google James ZhangTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn't have asked for better service. For all the half dozen quotes I obtained prior to installing solar, Charlie and his team were the only ones thorough and attentive enough to actually inspect my roof prior to the quoting. They were knowledgeable and friendly, and have kept me informed during every step of the installation process, I've been very happy with the quality of their workmanship - the proof being their installation completed a week before the "bomb cyclone" hit Sydney - had no leaks or issues post storm. Cannot thoroughly recommend them enough.Posted on Google R CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really easy to do business with. Ran through our Solar options in enough detail that I was confident of making the right decision in terms of capacity and design. Really easy installation and set-up. Great job.Posted on Google R BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Charlie installed solar panels for my house in Strathfield and did an absolutely amazing job. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The system works perfectly, and he took the time to explain everything clearly. Couldn’t be happier with the result — so good! I used Charlie to install an EV charger, it came out exactly how I imagined, he cleaned up any debris he made and answered all my questions. I believe I found the electrician I will keep on calling because I am happy with his work.Posted on Google Monika (Monika66)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just had our panels installed in February, best thing I've invested in for our family home. Our last monthly bill was only $20. It's working so well and so efficiently. I highly recommend Charlie and his team, very efficient, tidy, and professional. You also can't find a better price for value.Posted on Google MitchellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Charlie is a legend—really professional, friendly, and efficient. He did a great job on the roof, not just with the solar install but also by putting in extra effort to make sure the roof was in top condition

Every electrician on the team holds a full NSW licence and every solar installer carries current CEC accreditation. Public liability and workers compensation cover is comprehensive and active on every single job.

We install Tier 1 panels with real Australian warranty support and inverters from Fronius, Sungrow, SolarEdge, and GoodWe. On larger Hills systems, component quality is the difference between 25 quiet years and a decade of callbacks.

We scope switchboards, metering, roof access, and cable runs before we quote, so the price holds. On acreage jobs where trenching or long runs are involved, it is all itemised upfront, never discovered on the day.

Our standard is simple: neat racking lines, sealed penetrations, labelled and torqued connections, and a site left cleaner than we found it. Then we stay contactable, because a solar company you cannot reach is worthless.

Standard Hills homes are typically completed in one day. Larger 10 to 15kW systems, three-phase switchboard work, or acreage properties with long cable runs may take two days, and your quote will state the timeframe before we book you in.
Hills households usually need more than they think. With ducted air, a pool, and family-sized usage, 10 to 13kW is the common sweet spot, and big roofs out here can take it comfortably. We size from your last twelve months of bills, plus any battery or EV plans on the horizon.
Every one of them. Current Clean Energy Council accreditation is mandatory on our team, it is what qualifies your system for the federal STC rebate and certifies the install meets Australian standards.
Completely. The STC rebate, which is significant on larger Hills systems, is deducted from your quote before payment, and we lodge every assignment form on your behalf. No claims to chase afterwards.
Tier 1 panels come with a 25-year performance warranty and 10 to 15 years on the product itself. Inverters carry 5 to 10 year manufacturer warranties with extensions available, and our own workmanship warranty covers the installation over the top.
